* Mount an empty dir for the controller-manager to work around https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/issues/68973 * Update coreos/pod-checkpointer to strip affinity from checkpointed pod manifests. Typhoon 
Typhoon is a minimal and free Kubernetes distribution.
- Minimal, stable base Kubernetes distribution
- Declarative infrastructure and configuration

Typhoon distributes upstream Kubernetes, architectural conventions, and cluster addons, much like a GNU/Linux distribution provides the Linux kernel and userspace components.

- Single or multi-master, workloads isolated on workers, Calico or flannel networking
