* Both Flatcar Linux and Fedora CoreOS use systemd-resolved, but they setup /etc/resolv.conf symlinks differently * Prefer using /run/systemd/resolve/resolv.conf directly, which also updates to reflect runtime changes (e.g. resolvectl) |

- Minimal, stable base Kubernetes distribution
- Declarative infrastructure and configuration
- Free (freedom and cost) and privacy-respecting
- Practical for labs, datacenters, and clouds

- Kubernetes v1.23.0 (upstream)
- Single or multi-master, Calico or Cilium or flannel networking
- On-cluster etcd with TLS, RBAC-enabled, network policy, SELinux enforcing
- Advanced features like worker pools, spot priority workers, and snippets customization
- Ready for Ingress, Prometheus, Grafana, and other optional addons
